Hi, does anyone know anything about the match on the canal near Horninglow today? I would have been interested in fishing in it! I thought all matches were going to be advertised or was it a private match?

Probably a bunch of mates doing it themselves the same as you want to.....i hope they were all checked for a ticket.

it was more than a few mates pete, i went past about 1pm and they were from dallow lock and as far as i could see the other way too, somebody must of known that was happening, not seen that many on there for years

It was advertised in the local press and the tackle shops.

There are also matches on Feb 26th and March 11th.
(just in-case you planned a visit to a quiet stretch of canal....)
