Fleam pool, situated of the A38, The pool is just 60m from car park and is a pleasant place to fish with its reed fringed banks. Due to flooding the pool holds Chub and Dace as well as Carp, Bream, Roach, Perch, Tench and has produced decent sized Pike in the past. The depth decreases from 5’ at the car park end to 2’ at the far end. All the usual methods work but float fishing is better because of the silt. It can be hard at times to wean them off the plentiful natural food.
