Booking a match.

Postby alistair » Fri Feb 10, 2012 10:05 pm

Some friends and i are considering having a few matches. We would like to hold them on BMAA waters. There will be nine of us. How do I book the matches? I have only been a member a short time. I am profoundly deaf, thus unable to telephone Mr. Clarke the secretary. I have tried to find a club email address but so far have been unsuccessful. Any help gratefully received. Ali.

The phone number is the only means to contact the clubs new match secretary. He doesn't have a computer etc. so cannot correspond by email. One of the other match participants could ring for Alister. Hope this helps, John.

These days i would think an Email address is a must for any secretary? Surely he must be able to get someone to relay Emails to him or use an internet Cafe or Library?

 It's mobile number. Send a text message about the match booking.

 Then send a text message to tell him to upgrade his phone to one with email.
